The Laguardia Community College Institution Archives is committed to acquiring, preserving and providing access to records and materials that document the history of the college community as well as papers and memorabilia of prominent faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni involved with the college.
Reference and research assistance is offered to all LaGuardia Community College students, alumni, faculty, and administrators as well as other members of the CUNY community. Visitors must present their valid CUNY identification at both the campus security and library entrances to gain access to the Institutional Archives.
Access is available to outside researchers, writers, and students, etc. who should set up an appointment with the archives before visiting. All collections, unless otherwise restricted, are available for use by researchers. Please contact Valerie Mazzella-lazides at Valerie@lagcc.cuny.edu or (718) 482-5434 to set up an appointment. Upon arriving at the LaGuardia Community College campus, you must present a valid photo ID to security officers at both the campus and library entrances.
The Institutional Archives are located in E101Q, within the library near the printers and computer lab.

Materials reproduced from the LaGuardia Community College Institutional Archives are for personal use only. The possession of a reproduction from the Archives' holdings does not constitute permission to use it in any other manner.
All patrons acquiring material for any other reason than personal use must request and complete a permission form.
Hours and Contact
Our hours are from 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:45pm Monday-Friday. We are closed Fridays from mid June-August, on all CUNY-celebrated holidays, and whenever the College or Library is closed.
Special arrangements are possible for access at other times.
